Backstage Area

The backstage area is a soundproof, grand room behind the circus ring. All props are stored neatly in a large closet at one end. Lined along one wall are a dozen or so vanities and lit mirrors, where performers are whisked to for make-up and styling preparation by the stagehands and make-up artists. On the opposite wall, an impressive, great variety of costumes hang on a long rack from end to end. A large call board is mounted on the opposite end of the closet, where The Nocturne Theatre Rules and information regarding performance nights are tacked.
